(STARS) is seeking to hire FULL and PART-TIME licensed and unlicensed professionals who enjoy working with children and families and want to make a difference in the community. We also provide FREE supervision to master-level professionals seeking licensure.

Position Titles: Family Counselor, Individual Counselor, Paraprofessional

POSITION DESCRIPTIONS:

IFI Family Counselor- provides family therapy and participates in a multidisciplinary team that utilizes the multi-systemic theory approach to provide intensive family intervention services to children with severe behavioral and emotional needs, ages 5-21 years. Family counselor is responsible for providing family therapy to children and families on an IFI team at least (2) times per month, per case. We serve children in foster care, DJJ, and community settings. Timely documentation and travel to the client’s home, school, court, or other is required, a home computer a must, pay is competitive, eligible for travel reimbursement.

Position Requirements: Must be a fully licensed LPC/LCSW/LMFT, willing to travel and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.

Individual Counselor- provides individual counseling on the IFI team to children and adolescents or on an independent caseload of up to fifteen children. Individual Counselor is for completing the assessments, treatment plans, and other documentation needed in a timely manner. Timely documentation and travel to the client’s home, school, court, or other is required, a home computer a must, pay is competitive, eligible for travel reimbursement; must be willing to provide at least (2) contacts per week, per case.

Position Requirements: Must be a fully licensed LPC/LCSW/LMFT or licensed eligibleand willing to travel and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.

Paraprofessional-Provides skill building, resource coordination, educational advocacy and support to children and adolescents on the IFI team to or on an independent caseload of up to fifteen children. Timely documentation and travel to the client’s home, school, court, or other is required, a home computer a must, pay is competitive, eligible for travel reimbursement; must be willing to provide at least (2) contacts per week, per case.

Position Requirements: Must a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science, social work or related field and must be willing to travel and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.

Starting Pay:

LCSW/LPC=$40.00-$55.00 per hour (based on experience)

LMSW/LAPC=$30.00-$38.00 per hour (based on experience)

MSW/MS=$20.00-$28.00 per hour (based on experience)

BA/BS/BSW=$15.00-$18.00 per hour (based on experience)
