A growing North Georgia manufacturing company has a vacancy in its Quality Department for a QC/QA Technician. This is not a lab worker position; instead, a strong dimensional background and strong CAD skills are necessary. Knowledge and Skills:
- Capable of precision measuring using calipers, micrometers, and various gages.
- Possess thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2018 and its applications in manufacturing
- Ability to interpret documents and prints such as CAD drawings, procedures manuals, operation instructions, and ASME / ASTM specifications.
- Good dimensional interpretation and GD&T knowledge beneficial.
- Proficiency in CMM & Vision system programming and operation is beneficial.
- Proficient in applications such as MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Basic understanding of continuous quality improvement process.
- Minimum 2 years experience performing Quality Control/Assurance functions or shop floor machining.
- Ability to write routing reports and correspondence through various software programs.
- Ability to communicate with customer’s engineering and QC personnel, both written and verbal.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
