Licensed Apprentice Plumber

Job Overview

Smith Solutions Plumbing is seeking a skilled and motivated licensed Apprentice Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in residential and commercial plumbing, have experience in service and residential construction, and have a valid driver's license.

Duties & Qualifications:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential homes and small commercial properties
• Perform rough and finish plumbing for remodels, additions, and new construction
• Diagnose issues, provide repair options, and execute solutions efficiently
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively on the job
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and contractors on-site
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment
• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role in construction plumbing.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
• Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, pipe threading, and welding techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members effectively.

Requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts Plumbing License required
• 3 years of residential or light commercial plumbing experience
• Ability to read blueprints and follow job plans
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, self-sufficient, and comfortable working independently
• Familiarity with gas piping, HVAC tie-ins, or mini split systems is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
