Duties
- Assist senior technicians with chimney inspections, cleanings, and repairs
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools
- Support the installation of chimney caps, liners, and venting systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction tools including hand tools and power tools
- Experience in construction site work, restoration, or remodeling projects
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Prior experience in general construction, plumbing, electrical work, or roofing is advantageous but not required
