Tire and Lube Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in vehicle maintenance, particularly in performing oil changes, tire services, and other essential automotive repairs. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform routine oil changes and fluid checks on various vehicle makes and models.
• Conduct tire services including rotations, alignments, and replacements and basic mechanical repair.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
• Assist in diagnosing automotive issues using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Previous dealership experience or automotive service technician experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
