Job Title:Tool Crib AttendantReports to:Production ManagerGeneral Description:Prepare and Pre-stage all tool kits for set-ups. Be responsible for all tool inventory, reordering and tool sharpening. Maintain and document tool history. Responsibilities:Pre-stage duties (40%)Pre-stage all tooling, holders and collects required for set-up of CNC , SWISS and MOE machinesWork with scheduler to verify material and plan for ordersManaging perishable tools (30%)Coordinate purchase orders for perishable toolsMaintains inventory levels in software (cribware)Receives inbound supplies (10%) Sharpen form tool, cutoff, drill, box tool and chaser using surface grinder or bench grinder is required (10%) General assistance as needed (10%) Set-up of secondary operations and machines Raw material storage, movement to machines, and loading raw material into machines Ability to perform first piece inspections Other duties as requiredPhysical and Visual Activities:Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, talking, hearing, visual acuity - far, near, depth perception, field of vision and accommodationPhysical Demands:Lift up to 75 poundsEnvironmental/Atmospheric:Indoor conditions, noise, hazards, fumes, dustJob Qualifications Requirements:KnowledgeHigh school or equivalent (read, basic math, blueprint reading) 5 years minimum B&S/CNC job shop experienceLayout, tool design, machine repair helpfulExperienceTraining period: 3 to 5 yearsMachines, Tools, EquipmentCNC, hand tools, measuring instruments, surface and bench grinders.
