We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee the administration, compliance, and coordination of our company fleet. This position is ideal for someone with dealership fleet management, fleet administration, or transportation coordination experience who excels at keeping vehicles, records, and vendors organized while ensuring minimal downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and registrations for the company fleet
- Schedule service appointments and work directly with dealerships, repair facilities, and vendors
- Track vehicle warranties, recalls, licensing, and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate fleet records, including vehicle assignments, maintenance history, mileage, registrations, insurance, and titles
- Oversee the company's fuel card program by monitoring usage, reconciling transactions, and investigating discrepancies
- Coordinate vehicle purchases, upfitting, transfers, and disposals as needed
- Manage relationships with dealerships, manufacturers, leasing companies, and service providers
- Monitor fleet expenses and assist with budgeting and cost-control initiatives
- Respond to vehicle issues promptly to minimize operational downtime
- Work closely with management to ensure vehicles are available, compliant, and properly assigned
- Previous experience as a Fleet Manager, Fleet Administrator, Fleet Coordinator, or dealership fleet manager required
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating vehicle service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and fleet management software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with fuel card management, vehicle registrations, and fleet compliance preferred
- Knowledge of DOT and fleet compliance requirements is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
