Daily Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Position oneself to dispense gasoline or kerosene into customer vehicle or approved containers. Must be able to load approved containers into customer vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service by being polite to each customer.
- Must be able to move from vehicle to vehicle to operate gasoline pumps, fill gas tanks, and provide other additional services to customers vehicles.
- Provides quality customer service to include assistance with purchases.
- Receives payments from customers and returns appropriate change as needed.
- Balances currency sales daily.
- Places cash drops into floor safe in accordance with service station procedures.
- Position oneself to properly clean restrooms, gasoline and kerosene pumps and service station office including wiping of pump surfaces, mirror surfaces, sink surfaces, cleaning toilets and mopping floors.
- Remove trash liners from trashcans and place in large garbage collection dumpster.
- Must be able to sweep the lot daily and remove debris and place in trash container.
- Occasionally move boxes of supplies exceeding 50 lbs.
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
- During winter months, must remove snow from walkways using a broom or shovel.
- Must be able to distribute salt on walkways and driveways after snow removal.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
