Duties
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Ultra Tax to ensure precise financial tracking.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and account reconciliation.
- Support general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and month-end closing procedures.
- Manage payroll processing; oversee payroll management and related tax filings to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions.
- Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and coordinating office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Annual preparation of business and individual income tax returns.
Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Hands-on experience with multiple accounting software platforms including QuickBooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online, Excel, or similar systems.
- Understanding financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Knowledge of payroll management systems along with tax experience related to payroll processing.
- Demonstrated ability to perform data entry accurately.
- Excellent math skills combined with a keen eye for detail in account analysis and account reconciliation tasks.
Experience in professional office preferred.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
