Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable Lawn Care/Mowing Crew Lead to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, motivate, and supervise mowing crew members.
- Delegate daily tasks and keep the crew productive and on schedule.
- Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and property clean-up.
- Inspect completed work and correct quality issues before leaving the property.
- Follow daily routes and communicate delays or job concerns to management.
- Ensure trucks, trailers, mowers, and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Report equipment damage or maintenance needs immediately.
- Enforce company safety procedures and proper PPE use.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Accurately complete timesheets, job information, and required documentation.
- Report customer concerns, accidents, damages, or employee issues to management.
- Lead by example through professionalism, punctuality, attendance, and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating landscape or construction equipment preferred

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Leadership or Crew Lead Experience Preferred - Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)

Working Conditions:
Fast paced environment, outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise and cold. Some weekends may be required.
