As an Assurance Senior in our Captive Insurance practice, you'll lead audit engagements for captive insurance entities across a range of structures - single-parent captives, group captives, and association captives. You'll work directly with sophisticated clients who use captives as a strategic risk financing tool, and you'll be part of a practice area experiencing real national momentum.

As an Assurance Senior in our Captive Insurance practice, you'll lead audit engagements for captive insurance entities across a range of structures - single-parent captives, group captives, and association captives. You'll work directly with sophisticated clients who use captives as a strategic risk financing tool, and you'll be part of a practice area experiencing real national momentum.
Essential Functions
- Leading audit fieldwork and managing day-to-day engagement logistics for captive insurance clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles (SAP)
- Building working relationships with clients—including CFOs, risk managers, and captive managers—who value a team that understands their business
- Supervising and developing staff and associates on your engagements
- Collaborating with practice leadership to deliver high-quality work product on time and within budget
- Supporting business development through exceptional client service and your growing industry knowledge
- 3–5 years of public accounting audit experience
- Active CPA license or CPA exam in progress
- Solid technical foundation in GAAP; statutory accounting experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead engagements and manage client relationships
- Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and in the room
- Experience auditing insurance entities, specialty finance, or financial services clients
- Familiarity with captive insurance structures (single-parent, group, or association)
- Interest in growing into a practice leadership or manager role
