Household & Lifestyle Assistant (Part-Time)

About the Position

We are looking for a proactive Household Manager / Family Assistant to help our home run smoothly. We need a problem-solver who takes initiative and enjoys organizing, tidying, and making life easier for our family. Every day is different, spanning everything from meal prep and errands to household projects and pet care.

Key Responsibilities

• Tidying & Cleaning: Daily resets, routine house cleaning (vacuuming, dusting), and kitchen cleanup.
• Laundry: Washing, drying, folding, and putting away family laundry.
• Meals & Errands: Meal planning and prepping assistance, grocery shopping/pickup, and running local errands.
• Organization: Creating systems, keeping inventories, organizing closets/pantries, and seasonal decorating.
• Family & Pet Support: Assisting with our daughter's schedule, transporting dogs to appointments, and helping with event prep.
• Optional Administrative Support: Light administrative or organizational work for the family's small business.

Our Ideal Candidate

You are dependable, trustworthy, and naturally notice what needs to be done. You take pride in your work, don't wait to be told every little thing, and are comfortable working independently. You must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable around dogs. We value a positive, kind, and resourceful attitude over previous experience.

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: 20–30 hours/week, mostly weekdays with a flexible schedule. Hours are dependent on the tasks that can be done.
• Pay: $25/hour, depending on experience. Mileage reimbursement for approved errands.
