Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our skilled team. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, assisting in the completion of projects that may include residential and commercial construction.
Duties
- Assist in the installation of doors, windows, and fixtures, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Participate in trim carpentry tasks, including baseboards, crown molding, and other decorative elements.
- Engage in frame carpentry activities, constructing walls, roofs, and other structural components.
- Help with maintenance person tasks as needed, providing support for minor repairs and maintenance.
- Follow instructions from lead carpenters to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- No prior experience is required; however, any background in carpentry or construction is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in carpentry is beneficial.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to mold remediation, door hanging, installation techniques, trim carpentry, roofing, fixture installation, frame carpentry, and general maintenance person tasks will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work are essential for success in this role.
