Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage landscape maintenance crews, ensuring efficient execution of daily tasks such as lawn care, gardening, pruning, planting, and plant identification.
- Oversee construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Lead team management efforts by providing clear direction, training, and mentorship to crew members to promote safety and high-quality workmanship.
- Manage irrigation systems including installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal water efficiency and plant health.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor landscape conditions, identify issues such as pest infestations or disease, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Coordinate with vendors for supplies related to horticulture, landscaping materials, equipment maintenance, and irrigation components.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations while maintaining operational efficiency across all projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping operations with a strong understanding of horticulture practices.
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments.
- Knowledge of plant identification, tree care techniques, irrigation management, lawn care practices, and gardening principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Experience in crew management including scheduling, training, safety protocols, and performance evaluations.
- Technical skills related to irrigation systems installation and maintenance; familiarity with construction processes is a plus.
