Operations Administrator
Smith Garage Equipment, Inc. is seeking an individual to serve as a liaison between our Outside Sales Reps and our various Vendors and Executive team. This person will interact with our sales team and vendors on a daily basis and will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and Operations.
- Receive and process orders from Outside Sales Reps
- Review orders for errors and omissions
- Maintain relationships with all SGE Vendors
- Answer basic questions from Outside Sales Reps related to vendor part #’s, pricing, order entry, etc…
- Facilitate payment collection and payment processing including receiving checks, credit card payments and PO’s from SGE financing partners
- Manage data in spreadsheets and reports
- Keep records and reports up to date
- Carry out clerical duties, including answering phones and preparing documents
This position will be all on-site initially with the ability to transition to a hybrid work environment once the SGE, Inc. leadership team is comfortable with this individuals abilities to execute all tasks associated with the job.
Ideal Candidates will have the following skills and experiences.
- Email and Phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of Products.
- Proficient level with internet computer functions.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Excel required. Proficient level preferred.
- Previous experience with Adobe PDF strong preferred.
