Position Overview
This position works closely with our doctors to provide outstanding patient care while ensuring an efficient and positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a boutique healthcare environment.
You will play a key role in:
- Supporting doctors during exams
- Ensuring efficient patient flow
- Providing excellent patient communication from check-in to check-out
Core Responsibilities
Clinical Technician Duties
- Perform preliminary testing prior to doctor examination
- Take patient history and update medical records
- Assist with contact lens evaluations and training
- Instruct patients on insertion/removal and care of contact lenses
- Prepare and explain contact lens fitting agreements
- Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and equipment
- Accurately scribe and document patient encounters
- Maintain contact lens inventory and order trials/products
- Check in and dispense contact lens orders
- Review and enter charges accurately into EHR
- Coordinate follow-up care and patient communication
- Assist with prescription processing and e-prescribing
Advanced experience expectations
- Provide a smooth and professional checkout experience
- Schedule appointments and explain treatment plans
- Review insurance benefits with patients
- Process payments and assist with outstanding balances
- Answer phones promptly and courteously
- Assist with contact lens ordering and follow-up

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
