Smith Doors & Windows Installer/Service technician

Our business has experienced explosive growth, and we’re looking for experienced Installers and Service Technicians to grow with our window and door service/install department. In Bay County Florida since 1988, we are a family-owned business leading the way in superior coastal products in and around the Gulf Coast of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Essential Functions

• Responsible for exceeding customer expectations while meeting their needs installing and servicing the various brands we sell
• Proper and professional knowledge on the installation of high-end windows and doors
• Proficiency in window and door maintenance, service, & repair knowledge
• Professionally communicate installation issues to architects, builders, and homeowners
• Fielding initial customer service calls and emails in a timely manner
• Performing assessments and diagnostics remotely and on-site
• Tracking customer issues, and our solutions
• Assisting with order entry, customer invoicing, and warranty claim work
• Maintaining profitability in customer and warranty work
• Aiming for first visit issue resolution, and always having the tools and parts that allow for it
• Always aiming to learn more, and willingness to train others
• Ensures vehicle/trailer maintenance and appearance
• Ensures organized and clean inventory, warehouse, and work area

Work Environment

This position operates in a mainly outdoor environment.

Physical Demands

• Ability to be on feet all day, indoors and outdoors
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds on occasion
• Comfortable with heights using ladders, etc.

Pay

Pay is dependent on experience.

Schedule

• Full time 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Ability to commute/relocate

• Panama City, FL. 32405: Reliably commute or relocate to area (Required)

Education

• College (Preferred)
• High school or equivalent

Experience

• Window & Door Installation, Maintenance, Service, & Repair (Preferred)
• Andersen windows, PGT windows, Viwinco windows, ThermaTru doors, Neuma doors, DSA Doors, Windoor, & Emtek Hardware experience (Preferred) but will train
• Construction Experience (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office & Google Docs (Preferred)
• QuickBooks (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
