Role Description
This is a full-time, Over The Road, role for an OTR Truck Driver, the company hiring is located close to Carmel, IN. The OTR Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of cargo. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, and managing routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and clean driving record
- Experience with long-distance driving and cargo management
- Knowledge of safety regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication and navigation skills
- Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations on the road
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or transportation is a plus
