Job Description

The June Program is a 3-week summer program that serves students in grades K-6 at the Campus School of Smith College. The program runs from June 1 – 18, Monday – Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. This fun and exciting experience offers students the opportunity to participate in various activities on the Smith College Campus. Students in grades K-2 will utilize the Campus School facilities for activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, kung-fu, water games, drama, sports, story-telling and more! Students in grades 3-6 will use Smith College athletic facilities and other buildings to participate in activities including: art, sports & games (basketball, badminton, dodgeball, pickleball, soccer), cooking, theater, science, nature exploration and more!

End Date: June 20

Job Description - Group Leader

Manage and supervise groups of students in grades K-6. Help lead students and supervise, provide support when needed, maintain and report daily attendance, arrival and dismissal, and direct support staff. Uphold and support program protocol, policies and procedures. Report to the program coordinator. Prior experience working with children in active environments including camps or schools preferred.

Hourly Rate Range: $19 - $23 per hour depending on experience

Hours per week: 35 hrs per week (7 hrs per day)
