Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assisting them with their automotive needs
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment to ensure product availability
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipt issuance
- Assist customers in selecting parts and accessories, demonstrating product knowledge
- Maintain accurate records using DMS software for inventory management
- Support marketing efforts by promoting specials and new products to customers
- Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately
- Ensure the work area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary items
- Collaborate with the service department to facilitate seamless customer service experiences
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive repair or parts sales is preferred
- Proficiency in inventory, POS systems, and retail math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and order fulfillment
- Experience with retail sales management, cashiering, and inventory control processes
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with dealership operations such as marketing strategies and automotive repair workflows
- Strong math skills for retail math calculations and inventory assessments
