Fabric Inspector

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Possess desire and ambition to work safely and efficiently and report all work hazards immediately.

· Remove production tickets.

· Use trimmers to cut dangling threads from fabric.

· Blow off cotton/fiber lint.

· Clean any soiled areas.

· Steam/brush any unusual streaks in nap fabric.

· Problem Solving/Diagnosing Issues

· Critical Thinking

· Use hand tools that include air powered air hose to clean lint off upholstered furniture.

· Work in a cellular fashion in the most efficient manner that has the highest level of quality.

· Perform final inspections on finished upholstered furniture.

· Perform in-process inspection within the production upholstery cell.

· Work as a team in the safest and most efficient manner.

· All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience with quality, inspection, and cleaning in a manufacturing environment preferred.
