Description
- Train closely with sales representatives and sales leadership to develop specific strategies to generate sales leads, industry growth and identify the best way to represent Smith.
- Research potential clients through tools such as CRM, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo to verify viability, contact information and promote company brand to target markets.
- Enter and maintain customer profiles into Smith’s internal sales database.
- Heavy cold calling and prospecting of customers to advertise the value-added services Smith offers.
- Fine tune relationship building and full account management while qualifying leads and requirements from customers.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to stay informed of inventory.
- Willingness to make outbound phone calls every day.
- Aptitude to connect with customers over the phone, build relationships and close deals.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail.
- Committed to customer satisfaction, confidentiality and ability manage proprietary data.
- 0-2 years of experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required
- Preferred Bachelors in International Business Trade or Business Administration related field
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior sales or sales support experience preferred
