What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Surveying Field Technician position at Smith & Associates Surveying and Mapping?
Land Surveying company seeking Rodman or Instrument Technician position to assist the Surveyor in performing Boundary, Topographic, Construction layout, Mortgage and As-Built Surveys, utilizing all types of Land Surveying equipment.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent. Knowledge of basic math (addition/subtraction, multiplication, division and geometry)
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the motivation to follow instructions completely and accurately while working with others.
- Dependability, Responsive and Organization skills helpful.
- Safety and Awareness of the Job Site environment and handling of delicate equipment.
- Ability to work outside in different types weather.
