Pediatric Dental Assistant – Cedarhurst, NY
Smiles Off Central Pediatric Dentistry is a modern, state-of-the-art pediatric dental practice in Cedarhurst, NY, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

Position Details
- Location: Cedarhurst, NY
- Starting Schedule: Thursdays, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (beginning at the end of August)
- Additional Hours: Beginning in mid-October, Fridays 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM and Sundays 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- As our practice continues to grow, additional days and hours will become available.
Compensation
- Starting at $23.00 per hour
- Pay increases as you grow with our practice based on performance, experience, and commitment.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Loves working with children and helping create positive dental experiences.
- Has pediatric dental assisting experience.
- Is experienced taking digital dental X-rays using phosphor plates on pediatric patients.
- Is comfortable assisting with a wide variety of pediatric dental procedures.
- Has experience with instrument sterilization and maintaining OSHA-compliant infection control standards.
- Is a dependable team player who is always willing to help wherever needed.
- Has excellent communication skills and enjoys interacting with both children and parents.
- Experience with OpenDental is a plus.
