Your Responsibilities

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will:

• Provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services.
• Perform adult and child prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), periodontal maintenance, fluoride treatments, and sealants as appropriate.
• Conduct thorough periodontal assessments, including periodontal charting and evaluation of periodontal health.
• Identify and educate patients about gingivitis, periodontal disease, and preventive treatment options.
• Obtain diagnostic radiographs and utilize digital imaging technology.
• Use AI-assisted diagnostic tools and intraoral imaging to enhance patient education.
• Develop personalized oral hygiene recommendations and home-care instructions.
• Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to coordinate comprehensive patient treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow established infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Create a welcoming, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current, active North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
• Strong clinical hygiene and periodontal assessment skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred but Not Required:

• Experience with digital radiography and intraoral scanning.
• Familiarity with periodontal therapy and maintenance protocols.
• Experience with modern dental practice management software.
• Interest in learning AI-assisted diagnostic technology and other advanced clinical tools.
