Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting,styling.
- Utilize salon software and management tools like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by adhering to proper sterilization procedures and scissors.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable styles.
- Upsell retail products related to hair care and beauty to support clients’ ongoing maintenance routines.
- Assist with front desk duties when needed—greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state law.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and understand their needs.
- Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for upselling products.
