Smiles 4 Kids Jerome is seeking a Part Time Dental Assistant to be a part of our growing team. We are a pediatric dental practice and the candidate must love working with children. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic individual. Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:

* Compassionately performs dental hygiene procedures while ensuring comfort of the patient.

* Educates on the importance of dental hygiene, assists dentist and participates with communicating dental treatment options.

* Must possess verbal and written communication skills and be well educated in dentistry and dental hygiene.

* Ability to connect with patients and build new relationships.

*Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings, other meetings as requested and in-service trainings.

*Demonstrates strong leadership skills and promotes teamwork.

*Follows all clinical protocols and procedures as outlined in the Provider Handbook.

*Performs other duties as requested.

Experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Dentrix software experience is recommended.

Bilingual is a plus but not necessary.

The position will be 2-3 days per week. Working days will include Monday, Wednesday and Friday's. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday’s, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Starting salary will be determined depending on experience.
