We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Bilingual Front Desk Associate (English/Spanish) to join our busy and patient-focused dental practice. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you!
Position Summary
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our front office.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments.
- Confirm appointments and manage patient recalls.
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Obtain pre-authorizations and submit pre-treatment estimates when needed.
- Collect co-payments and outstanding balances.
- Check patients in and out efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management software.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure an efficient patient flow.
- Handle patient questions regarding treatment plans, insurance, and financial arrangements.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Perform general administrative and office support duties.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
- Previous dental front desk or dental office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of dental insurance plans and terminology is an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient with computers; experience with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix is a plus.
