- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans
- Utilize dental terminology accurately to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice standards
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety during all procedures
- Operate dental imaging equipment effectively for diagnostic purposes while ensuring proper radiation safety measures
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred
- Experience in general dentistry with additional skills in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently
- Commitment to infection control standards and patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health and treatment options effectively
