Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered for this position.
We are looking for someone who has:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dental or healthcare setting
- Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures
- Proficiency in Dentrix dental software and technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual abilities are a valuable asset.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Compliance with continuing education requirements to maintain state license/certification (if applicable)
You will be responsible for:
- Sterilize instruments and prepare dental equipment and tray setups for procedures.
- Take diagnostic records, such as X-rays, intra-oral scans, photos, and impressions.
- Provide direct patient care and education under the supervision of a dentist.
- Document patient care and treatment in medical records.
- Handle basic lab duties and ensure lab cases are prepared and delivered on time.

- Job Type: Full-time (30–40 hours/week), in-person only.
- Location: Shirley, NY.
- Schedule: Saturday–Friday, evenings and Saturdays 8-2pm are required.
- Experience (Preferred): 2 years in a dental office, 1 years with Dentrix software, 2 years of dental assisting experience.
