Position Overview
We are currently seeking a part-time Surgical Dental Assistant, with the goal of expanding this into a full-time position within 3–6 months for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the doctor during surgical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and a fully aseptic environment
- Anticipate provider needs and efficiently pass instruments during treatment
- Clean, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and equipment
- Support patient positioning and preparation before procedures
- Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout treatment
- Provide post-operative instructions and recovery support
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with — or willingness to learn — dental implant surgery
- Confidence assisting with surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Friendly, professional communication with patients and team members
