Our team is growing, and we are looking to add a Full Time Treatment Coordinator to our long-standing team in Gardendale.
Luma Dentistry has been serving the Alabama Area for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on the long-standing relationships built at the office level and surrounding communities. Job Requirements
- Greet patients when they arrive at the dentist's office
- Schedule appointments for patients
- Maintain patient accounts and records
- Submit patient claims to insurance companies
- Assist patients in filling out required intake and medical forms
- Confirm appointments with patients via phone or email
- Inform patients of payment options
- Perform basic accounting tasks such as taking patient payments
- Update patient insurance information
- Ensure all dental office equipment is functioning properly
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail
- Fill schedules
- Ensure reception area is maintained and professional in appearance
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum [2 years] experience in a dental front office or patient coordinator role
- Strong understanding of dental insurance and billing processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Proficiency with dental software Dentrix
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (No Lunch)
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
