Treatment Coordinator I Redwood Dental of Farmington
Redwood Dental in Farmington, MI is looking to add a dental receptionist to join our friendly team!
We are looking for someone that loves working with patients to achieve their smile goals with knowledge in treatment planning and financial arrangements using third party lenders when needed. If you have at least one year of previous dental experience, love serving patients, have a bright and energetic personality and want to find a long term "fit" for your career, please consider us.
Full-time with access to full benefits after 60 days!
Job Responsibilities:
- Presenting and explaining treatment plans and financial options
- Verifying insurance and following up on outstanding balances and outstanding treatment
- Maintaining clear communication with patients and team members
- Multitasking effectively in a busy office environment

Required / Preferred Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the treatment coordinator role

Prior experience with insurance verification and benefit breakdowns required

Experience presenting treatment plans and reviewing financial responsibility with patients' required

Strong phone skills, including scheduling, inbound/outbound calls, and patient follow-up

Experience working with dental practice management software (Dentrix preferred)
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures required
- Dental office experience required
Office Hours:
- Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Alternate Friday / Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
