Orthodontic Assistant Responsibilities:
Celebrates the patients journey throughout treatment
Preforms initial bonds on patients
Placing, Replacing, and Removing as needed Archwires, Brackets, powerchains, O-ties, Invisalign attachments, and orthodontic appliances
Obtain current dental histories and/or takes full records including intra-oral pictures, panos, cephs, and 3-D scans
Take impressions for retainer creation
Empower and educate patients on maintaining great orthodontic care
Record patient charting and all doctor notes in the digital patient chart
Prepare tray setups for regular appointments and maintain adequate supply levels
Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations
Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
All other tasks as needed
Orthodontic Assistant Qualifications
All levels of experience considered; will train candidates OR
1 year as an assistant in the dental field; orthodontic experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
