Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance coverage, and assist with patient intake processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
- Schedule appointments efficiently utilizing dental office management software and coordinate with the clinical team to optimize daily workflows.
- Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing using systems.
- Maintain accurate dental records by reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance with HIPAA regulations; update patient charts with treatment notes and care plans.
- Assist dental practitioners during procedures by preparing instruments, ensuring sterilization protocols are followed, and managing patient comfort.
- Chairside dental assisting.
- Handle medical billing tasks.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answer inquiries promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing medical records, managing medical documentation review processes, and maintaining organized office files.
- Support front desk operations by verifying patient information, updating electronic health records (EHR systems), and managing appointment reminders via phone or digital communication tools.
- Help maintain the cleanliness of a professional dental office.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
