Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate Dentist in our Cosmetic and Family Dental Care office. You will play a Vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare to our diverse patient community, located in a nice and safe area Homewood, AL!
We are looking for a part-time or full time associate for $500/day Monday - Thursday OR 30% Collections. (Whichever is Highest Pay)

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and restorative procedures.
- Perform dental treatments such as extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
- Conduct patient assessments using medical and dental terminology to develop accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and managing patient records efficiently.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
- Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to foster understanding and trust.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws while managing medical documentation and dental records accurately.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow and enhance patient comfort.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, medical imaging, and procedural techniques relevant to general dentistry and specialized fields like pediatrics or endodontics.
Requirements
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable.
- Proven experience in dental office settings or clinics with proficiency in dental fabrication and client communication.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Skills in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics basics, oral surgery, and implant procedures.
- Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity toward young patients when necessary.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to healthcare diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages while explaining complex procedures clearly.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique throughout all treatments.
