Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and community safety at all times
- Support development through engaging activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
- Assist with daily routines and reminders as needed.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following health guidelines and safety protocols such as first aid procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create tailored care plans that meet each person's unique needs
- Engage in daily activities and provide enrichment to individual lives and well being.
Experience
- Experience working with or caring for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR.
- OIS-Oregon intervention system. This can be obtained on the job.
- Valid Oregon drivers license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
