Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our Clearwater team. This role is essential in delivering an excellent patient experience while ensuring efficient front-office operations. The ideal candidate has prior dental experience, is confident in dental terminology, and understands the flow and scheduling needs of a dental practice.

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience
- Schedule appointments for a variety of dental procedures, ensuring efficient use of provider time
- Coordinate and manage the daily schedule, including adjustments as needed
- Verify dental insurance coverage and benefits prior to patient visits
- Clearly communicate treatment plans, costs, and insurance details to patients
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist with patient concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure seamless patient care
- Dental experience required (1-2 years minimum preferred)
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
- Proven experience with dental scheduling and workflow coordination
- Experience with insurance verification and benefit breakdowns is required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dental practice management software is a plus
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting
