In this part time Orthodontic Assistant opportunity, you will support our Orthodontist in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during dental procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, ability to start within a month and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This part-time position will work between our Thornton and Tower offices 2 Th/month 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities
- Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the ultimate patient experience is delivered to every patient.
- Place and remove arch wires, elastic ties, power chains, and other orthodontic auxiliaries (as allowed by state regulations).
- Educate the patients on orthodontic care, headgear delivery and rubber band instructions.
- Assist in patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records to include Panoramic and Cephalometric x-rays.
- Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor’s notes accurately and assure home care instructions are clear to patients and/or guardian.
- Perform laboratory procedures including model pour up, trimming and fabricating clearn aligners.
- Keep chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment.
- Colarado Xray certification required
- 1 year Ortho Assisting experience required
- CPR certified preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
$20-$23/hr
