Duties
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk, managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments accurately using dental office management software Eaglesoft, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily patient flow.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring proper documentation review for billing purposes.
- Collect patient information, update health records.
- Treatment planning
- Manage medical records filing, scanning, and data entry tasks efficiently.
- Support clinic operations by handling intake procedures, insurance verification, appointment reminders, and patient inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the dental field. (front desk or assisting)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, and health information management practices.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor; bilingual abilities a plus to serve diverse patient populations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and other healthcare regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic setting.
