Job Summary: The Product Analyst will play a pivotal role in the future growth and transformation of SMI by supporting the expansion of SMI’s product suite. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of emerging products and work collaboratively with a dynamic team to drive innovation and a best-in-class product experience. Your responsibilities will include collecting market research, understanding customer needs, and working across a cross-functional team to ensure successful product launches. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in product management, a proven track record of launching successful products, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of technology and the product development process. This location-agnostic role has core business hours in the Eastern time zone. The role will report to the Director of Product Management. Key Functions/ Basic Duties: Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential opportunities. Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand user needs and preferences. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define clear and detailed product requirements. Ensure alignment between customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Work cross-functionally to ensure all product requirement documentation is up to date and the voice of the customer is reflected. Work closely with the Product Manager to prioritize the product backlog based on strategic goals and customer impact. Assist in maintaining a well-defined and prioritized roadmap. Support the Product Manager in planning and executing successful product launches. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned and prepared for a smooth launch process. Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to derive insights from product performance metrics. Provide actionable recommendations for product improvements based on data-driven insights. Additional duties may be assigned. Education and/ or Experience: · 3 years experience in product management · Deep understanding of financial systems, payments, and financial technology domains · Deep understanding of the product development process · Collaborative problem-solving and ideation in a highly ambiguous environment · Excellent communication skills; written and verbal · Deep curiosity for how complex financial systems work, and ability to internalize and analyze this information quickly · Experience delivering quality software that solves business and user needs · Data-driven and excellent analytical skills Language Skills: Fluent in English. Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office.
