Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of department personnel and for performing a wide variety of housekeeping functions. The ideal candidate must be dependable, organized, professional and motivated; must have good awareness of internal and external deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leadership and direction for housekeeping and laundry staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas
• Recruit, train, motivate, and coach staff members with a friendly and nurturing style
• Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas.
• Submit work orders to maintenance department
• Ensure that operational and safety procedures are followed
• Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner
• Perform the work of housekeeping and laundry personnel when necessary
• Perform other job related duties as assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency as required
• Prior experience as a Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
• Customer service experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
