Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to deliver appliances to residential or commercial sites
- Install a wide range of appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ranges according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Troubleshoot equipment issues during installation or post-delivery to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and assembly of appliances using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct job site prechecks
- Provide outstanding customer service by explaining appliance features, addressing questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during each interaction
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing devices, and other maintenance equipment
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating box trucks or similar company vehicles in a safe manner
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience working in delivery driver roles or field service environments preferred
- Ability to lift 100-150 Pounds
