Apartment Turnover Cleaner - Move-Out Cleaning
Smelly's Cleaning LLC is hiring a dependable part-time cleaner to prepare vacant apartments for incoming residents at an apartment community in Reading, PA 19606. This role focuses on detailed move-out and turnover cleaning.
Pay: $16–$20 per hour
Schedule: Turnover cleans are scheduled as vacant units become available. Hours vary with the number of apartments that need cleaning; this role does not have a fixed biweekly schedule. Specific availability and turnaround expectations will be discussed during the hiring process.
What You'll Do
- Perform thorough move-out cleaning in vacant apartments.
- Clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
- Dust and wipe surfaces and complete detailed cleaning before new residents move in.
- Follow our turnover cleaning checklist and check your work before marking a unit complete.
- Report cleaning-related concerns to the team lead or owner.
What We're Looking For
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and close attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to the Reading site.
- Prior cleaning experience preferred, especially apartment turnover or move-out cleaning; we will train the right person.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb stairs throughout a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work thoroughly and meet agreed cleaning deadlines.
