Maintenance Leadman

Description

The Maintenance Lead will assist to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's facilities and equipment to ensure the best physical resources available for employees to complete their duties according to budget and to ensure the company facilities and equipment are well-cared for and adequate to support the company's business operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement maintenance procedures and ensure competion
• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Assist in the direction of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production line equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, welding equipment, packaging and miscellaneous machinery.
• Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
• Assist in planning of Plan all repair and installation activities
• Monitor equipment inventory and report needs as required
• Work with contractors and service providers as required
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as maintenance mechanic or lead
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
• Firm Knowledge in D.C. overhead cranes
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school in
• facility management will be an advantage
