Job Summary
The HR Specialist will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions with a primary focus on Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration, recruitment, payroll processing, short-term disability claims, and event planning. He/she will ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, provide support to employees, and contribute to the efficient operation of the HR department.
Education and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the following attributes and/or skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role with a focus on FMLA, recruitment, and payroll.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
