What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rage Room Event Administrator and Store Maintenance Staff position at Smashit Therapy?
Entertainment venue in Westbury, NY is looking for several new staff members. Engage customers to participate in our rage room or our glow-in-the-dark paint experience! We have individuals smashing away their stress, couples enjoying a date night or birthday parties taking over the place for a very unique experience.
This is a long-term part-time opportunity with flexible hours. Tuesday through Sunday only.
We are looking to hire 6-8 new staff members. Give it a try and apply!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- HAPPILY AND LOUDLY engage customers. (MAKE IT FUN!)
- Engage customers and explain the concept (Make the sale)
- Guide customers throughout the experience (suit up, photos, crate choice, etc.)
- Process payments and use Point of Sale system (Square) to schedule appointments
- Check front of store inventory levels and replenish stock continuously
- Quickly break down new inventory pallets, clean inventory, and sort stock room
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Set up and clean up the different rooms repeatedly during the shift
Qualifications:
- Energetic, outgoing personality (This is an experience entertainment venue!)
- Ability to work safely and efficiently (Follow safety requirements and protocols)
- Ability to organize and pay attention to detail (Keep store stocked)
- Ability to anticipate and plan ahead (Prioritize tasks as needed)
- Ability to interact with individuals/groups (Assist and guide them through their experience and their birthday parties)
- Experience with POS systems or at a minimum the desire to learn it
Education:
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
No need to have experience in rage rooms or alike. We'll give you the training you need as long as you bring the desire and positive attitude to provide our guests with a safe and entertaining time!
