Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of food items, with a focus on pizza making, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food prep stations and storage areas
- Adhere strictly to food safety standards, handling ingredients properly and practicing safe cooking techniques
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas or improvements based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, slicers, knives, and other culinary tools
- Support catering events or special meal preparations as needed to meet customer demands
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments with a focus on pizza making or similar cuisine
- Strong knife skills with precise slicing techniques for vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs
- Ability to plan menus effectively while considering ingredient availability and customer preferences
- Excellent food service experience with a focus on quality presentation and timely delivery of meals
