Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders and inquiries promptly
• Operate POS systems such as Toast to process retail sales transactions efficiently
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving accurate change
• Manage food service customer orders with precision, ensuring timely preparation and delivery
• Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic food handling and kitchen equipment operation
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards and food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during busy periods
• Ensure proper food safety management practices are followed at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong cashiering skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Strong attention to detail in food handling, order accuracy, and cleanliness standards
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and sales tracking
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and operating kitchen equipment preferred
• Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation procedures in the food industry
