CAD Support Specialist
SmartTalent is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Programming Support Specialist to support our programming and production teams within a fast-paced HVAC manufacturing environment. This is a newly created role designed to assist senior team members with day-to-day CAD tasks, production documentation, and occasional customer interaction.
This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational CAD experience who is looking to grow their skills in a hands-on, team-oriented setting.
LOCATION: Arlington, WA
Pay: $24 - $25DOE
SCHEDULE:
Monday–Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities
· Input HVAC fittings and specifications from customer drawings into CAD systems
· Support programmers with basic CAD tasks and drawing updates
· Create and organize shop packets for the production team
· Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation
· Utilize Microsoft Office for tracking, communication, and reporting
· Assist with light customer service communication as needed
· Support ERP-related processes (Epicor experience is a plus)
Qualifications:
· Basic experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar preferred)
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Comfortable communicating with internal teams and customers
· Experience in HVAC, manufacturing, or sheet metal is a plus
· Familiarity with Epicor or similar ERP systems is a plus
